Please read the message below carefully, it gives everybody an
opportunity to enter the International Championships swimming 25m events
only but WITHOUT MEETING THE ENTRY QUALIFYING TIMES.
Please e-mail me urgently if you need any further explanation.
When the Entry Criteria for the International Competition 2008 was first considered, it was thought there would be other competitions at National and Regional level leading to the International and World competitions. Some National competitions have happened but there have been no fully endorsed Regional Competitions. We realised that due to the lack of competitions it has been difficult for 'new' swimmers to obtain times.
Therefore, and just for 2008, to give these 'new' swimmers an opportunity to compete the DSISO Executive has decided to include an additional 25m "Class" of Competition within the International Competition.
Countries are invited to enter swimmers that comply with the following Ruling:
Countries may enter swimmers for the new 25m Events BUT ONLY if …
The swimmers will be seeded into Races… · As soon as they have submitted a time. · This time may be changed up to 16.00 on Thursday 27 November 2008 · If no time is provided by this date then the swimmer will not be allowed to compete.

Reference - Entry Times for 4th
DSISO International Competition
There have been some questions
asking if Entry Times provided on the Entry Matrix can be changed as the
Competition gets closer. This WILL be possible, provided that the new
Time offered remains within the Qualifying Time I will accept changes
until 16.00 on Thursday the 27th November.
There will be NO changes after this
time, so please ensure that you DO e-mail any changes
as soon as you know them to :

The following teams are competing in the next World Championships and Festival of Swimming in Albufeira, PORTUGAL 27th November - 4th December 2008 Australia, Brazil. Canada. Denmark, Estonia. Great Britain. Gibraltar, Iran. Ireland, Italy, Hong Kong, Japan. Macau, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, USA, Venezuela, Zimbabwe
Countries that have taken part in other Championships Finland, India, Turkmanistam, Russia, , , The Supporters pack has been upgraded to full board. Supporters will be transported back to their hotel for lunch and be transported back for the afternoon sessions. This will give you time to socialise with other teams supporters and have time to rest. There is no additional costs |
