The 4th European Down Syndrome Swimming championships took place in Bobigny, France.  109 swimmers from 18 countries participated.  Three world records were broken  and one European record (T21).  Mosaic  –  9 European records.

A number of age group records were broken (Junior, Masters 1 & 2).   Certificates were handed to these swimmers at the competition.   The website will be updated in due course.

A big thank you to The French Sports Federation for Persons with an Intellectual Disability (FFSA) and their team, including officials and volunteers for making all the countries so welcome and putting on an memorable event.   The closing ceremony at the swimming pool where all the swimmers paraded around the pool was very special (video link on Facebook) , as well as the amazing Gala Dinner later in the evening.
