The first Trisome Games for athletes with Down syndrome ended on Thursday 21st July, 2016, in Florence, Italy. A successful four days in the swimming pool. The standard of swimming has gone from strength to strength and there were many “nail biting” the finals. World and Regional records tumbled. There were 23 T21 World Records and 10 Mosaic World records broken during the competition.
The Top Team was AUSTRALIA with 596 points ITALY was second with 427 points
MEXICO third with 358 points.
