SUMMARY:3rd British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships
DESCRIPTION:3rd British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships is to take place on 16th and 17th November 2024 at K2 Leisure Centre\, Crawley \nOn behalf of Down Syndrome Swimming Great Britain (DSS-GB)\, we are delighted to announce that entries will open on Monday 9th September to take part in the 3rd British Down Syndrome Swimming Championships. \nThis event is open to swimmers with Down syndrome\, and swimmers of all abilities are encouraged to enter.  Novice to elite\, 25m to 1500m.  All strokes and distances.  Age 10 and above. \nYou can gain access to all information relevant to the Championships here.   Please note: you will have to re-register your swimmer as we are using an alternative event system this year.  Last year’s details will not allow access. \nMerchandise can be purchased for the event using the link and password below.  Cut-off date for orders is 30th October 2024.                 https://bdsschampionships.printmykit.co.uk/     Password: BDSSch4mp5 \nPlease remember\, all swimmers will need to be supported poolside – poolside passes can be applied for via the online entry system. \nThese Championships would not be possible without the incredible support and sponsorship of Powerday Foundation and Keltbray and a number of other generous sponsors. \nIn addition to introducing novice swimmers to a competitive environment\, this event also provides an opportunity for us to identify up and coming new talent to join our elite swimmers representing their country at international competitions. \nPlease find a copy of the digital poster for the Championships here if you would like to share. \nIf this is your first time entering the British Championships and/or you have any questions\, please do not hesitate to contact us on britishdsswimmingchamps@gmail.com \nLooking forward to seeing you at the Champs. \nRegards\nBritish Down Syndrome Swimming Championships Organising Committee
